Statewide energy efficiency Best Practices forum

The Statewide Energy Efficiency Best Practices Forum is a day-long forum for local elected officials and staff. This premier energy event hosted by the Local Government Commission focuses on highlighting the most innovative local energy and climate change programs in the state. Each year the forum features updates from key state agencies and several energy efficiency and climate change topics including financing, climate action tools, energy savings programs, codes and standards and other best practices for reducing energy use and greenhouse gases in your community.

LGC organizes the annual forum through SEEC, a partnership between LGC, ICLEI, the Institute for Local Governments and California’s four investor owned utilities. The annual forum is held in the summer and alternates between Northern and Southern California locations. It is offered free of charge to California local governments.
