Ahwahnee Principles for Climate ChangeDraft: Ahwahnee Principles for Climate Change (PDF) At the 17th Annual Yosemite Conference for Local Elected Officials, a process was set in place by the LGC’s Board of Directors to develop a set of guiding principles for local governments to use in response to global warming. A draft of Ahwahnee Principles for Climate Change was distributed at the conference for comments by all attendees. We are still taking additional comments from attendees and our members. If you would like to provide comments, please use our comment form. The next step is to create an advisory group from national, state and local levels to work with the LGC to refine the principles.
