Cool Roofs Program

California’s Cool Savings with Cool Roofs Program provided rebates to local governments, businesses, schools, and other entities that replaced (or resurfaced) their old "hot" roofs with new, light-colored, energy-conserving cool roofs. Rebates were also available for installation of cool roofs on new buildings. An incentive of 15¢ to 25¢ per square foot of eligible roofing was offered to qualifying applicants.
