About the Energy Information Clearinghouse
In the last two decades LGC has assisted California's local governments
with policy guidelines and practical tools for the use of energy
which is efficient, affordable, sustainable, and least harmful
to the environment.
This site is intended to provide community leaders with up-to-date
information on energy efficiency, renewable energy resources,
utility restructuring, and more. LGC is gathering existing information
from publications and on-line sources and, where vital information
does not currently exist, is filling the void with fact sheets
and other materials.
This clearinghouse will also announce upcoming energy-related
conferences, and direct visitors to other energy-related agencies,
organizations and web sites.
