The Community Design and Public Health "Track"
A special track of sessions was designed for public health professionals
interested in understanding the nexus between health and the built
environment and to learn about community design strategies that
create healthier and safer communities. The track began with two
sessions targeted specifically to public health practitioners
followed by a third session that brought together public health,
planners, transportation professionals and others in a multidisciplinary
cross-training forum. Sessions offered on Saturday further assisted
public health practitioners to address public health concerns
via community design, and provided a forum for developing new
nontraditional partnerships to further their goals.
Physicians could earn CME credits for attending the following sessions:
Optional Pre-Conference Sessions - Friday, June 27th:
Regular Conference Sessions - Saturday, June 28th:
1 hour = 1 CME credit
A total of 5 CME credits can be earned for attending pre-conference sessions. A total of 4 CME credits can be earned for attending regular conference sessions (some sessions run concurrently).
Credits are awarded upon verification of session attendance and the completion of a session evaluation form. Certificates will be sent after conference.
