Developing Smart Growth Zoning Codes Workshops
Dates: May 28 - Oakland, July 23 - Chino,
2004
Many communities are clamoring for smart growth development that
delivers attractive, walkable, mixed-use neighborhoods. Unfortunately,
current zoning codes and land development regulations present major
impediments to making smart growth a reality.
These workshops provided the tools to assist in either fine-tuning
or completely revamping a community’s zoning codes and
policies to create more livable communities.
