The third annual Statewide Energy Efficiency Best Practices Forum will be held on July 18 - 19, 2012 at the Crowne Plaza at LAX, in Los Angeles, CA. The day-long forum on July 19 will feature updates from key state agencies and several topics including financing, climate action tools, codes and standards and other best practices for reducing energy use and greenhouse gases in your community.
The forum is FREE to all California local governments, publicly owned utilities, the California Energy Commission, the California Air Resources Board and the California Public Utilities Commission.
If you represent a nonprofit organization or the private sector and would like to attend, contact Melissa Harper-Barton at mbarton@lgc.org (916-448-1198 ext. 327) to be added to the Wait List for this event. A $100 registration fee will apply. You will be contacted by June 29th to confirm if space is available for you to attend.
A limited number of scholarships will be available to help local government participants offset travel and lodging costs to attend. For information contact Melissa Harper-Barton at mbarton@lgc.org. In addition roommate and carpool matching is being offered to offset travel and lodging expenses. An evening Energy Champions Networking Reception will precede the Forum on July 18, and is open to all Forum participants.
