Communities across California are working diligently to save energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. To be successful, these projects require community input and support. This webinar will highlight tools and resources to help local agency officials engage the community in energy efficiency projects and climate action planning Including guidance on how to successfully communicate the benefits of energy efficiency, climate action planning and greenhouse gas reductions and how to conduct a successful public engagement process to a broad audience. It will conclude with a discussion of one community’s experience developing and adopting a Community Sustainability Plan.
