Local Governments & Small Business Energy Efficiency Programs Forum

Please join us for the Local Government Small Business Programs Forum being held on February 24th in San Francisco. This forum is designed for local governments, by local governments, and will focus on teaching how to administer and benefit from small business energy efficiency programs. We have scheduled this forum the day after the California Public Utilities Commission's February 23rd workshop on partnerships for energy efficiency programs to reduce the amount of travel for southern and northern California participants.

At the forum, local governments will have the chance to share information on local small business energy efficiency programs, including successes and lessons learned by local governments who have actually been involved in running the programs. The forum will include a panel discussion with representatives from various city agencies that are already implementing small business energy saving programs through their own means or by working with private and non-profit companies.

This innovative forum will allow participants to understand barriers, resources and specific next steps to implementing local government energy efficiency programs. Participants will understand how to partner with their local utility to best utilize all the resources available. To conclude, participants will divide into smaller roundtable discussion groups to work together to identify barriers and actions in order to develop their own small business energy efficiency programs.

Don't miss this exciting opportunity to network, share and learn along side other local governments working to increase the energy efficiency in their districts. We will be sending a registration package soon with additional information.

If you have any questions, please contact Shawn Considine (Strategic Energy Innovations) at 415-507-1430.
