Treasurer Offers Bond Assistance
Local governments can take advantage of yet another resource to
help with debt issuance and financing opportunities for energy projects
and smart growth projects. The California Debt and Investment Advisory
Commission (CDIAC) in the State Treasurer’s Office serves California
local governments on policy issues and provides technical assistance
in the areas of debt issuance and investments.
CDIAC conducts ongoing educational programs and courses for state
and local officials on a variety of topics, including the mechanics
of a bond sale, bond pooling techniques, and how to structure financing.
