Energy Wise Healthy Home on PBS

Energy Wise Healthy Home is a new series created for public television about a home that saves upwards of 50% off the energy bill, reduces air and water pollution, and actually improves the health of its occupants.

This is a new series dedicated to informing the public and home builders about ultra energy-efficient and healthy home technologies that will lower utility bills and improve personal health, while reducing damage to our environment. In 26 half-hour episodes debuting in the summer of 2004, Energy Wise Healthy Home follows, step by step, the planning and construction of a home that takes advantage of the latest in energy-efficient construction methods and materials, and combines them with high-tech, health-promoting systems.

It taps into two growing public concerns: the negative effects of unclean air and water, and the high environmental and financial costs of energy. Energy Wise Healthy Home offers practical, cost-effective solutions to these problems and will appeal to anyone with an interest in energy savings, environmental issues, technology, home improvement or personal health.
