Home Energy Magazine Launches Water/Energy Issue

Home Energy magazine (www.homeenergy.org) has published a special issue, Water/Energy: Linking Efficiency Efforts. Across the nation, water use strongly impacts energy demand, and both are growing. In response, water agencies and energy utilities are taking steps to improve their water and energy efficiency efforts. This issue introduces water and energy efficiency technologies and strategies that builders, developers, contractors, remodelers, and others can use today, including: integrating water efficiency into current energy conservation efforts; water-efficient appliances; state of the art plumbing; and smart irrigation.
