An Energy Newsletter for Local Governments
The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) has two new web sites to access information about energy efficiency (EE) programs in California, and data on the programs administered by the Investor Owned Utilities (IOU).
For the general EE information:
From the CPUC homepage (www.cpuc.ca.gov) go to the Energy drop down (below the photo of the windmill) and choose "Renewables/Efficiency/Environment." Under "Energy Efficiency" choose "Energy Efficiency Homepage."
For those of you who want to go straight there the link is: http://www.cpuc.ca.gov/static/energy/electric/energy+efficiency/_index.htm
Please contact Mikhail Haramati (mkh@cpuc.ca.gov) if you have any comments or questions.
The Energy Efficiency Groupware Application (EEGA 2006) provides energy efficiency data to the public. EEGA 2006 allows public access to data and reports on the CPUC Energy Efficiency (EE) programs for the 2006-2008 program cycle. This site can be accessed at http://eega2006.cpuc.ca.gov.
Some of the key features of EEGA are:
1. Charts and Summary Tables of 2006-08 Energy Efficiency programs
2. IOU Reports
If you have questions or comments regarding the EEGA2006 website, please contact: Jeorge Tagnipes, CPUC Energy Division: jst@cpuc.ca.gov (415) 703-2451 Wayne Hauck, Intergy: wayne.hauck@intergycorp.com (415) 608-1860
