Trees and Parking Lots Report

A new report about municipal code regarding Trees and Parking lots is available. It promotes regulatory strategies that increase tree cover of paved parking lots.  The report is available at this web site as a downloadable PDF file:

Since the GA Forestry Commission was the sponsor, most of the code examples are from the Southeast U.S., but the report should be of some value to communities in warmer climates throughout the U.S.
