Public Goods Charge Programs 2009-2011

The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) has started planning for the 2009-2011 Public Goods Charge Energy Efficiency programs, hoping to have them ready to roll by January 1, 2009. A prehearing conference was held on February 27th in San Francisco to discuss the schedule, and scope of issues. The tentative schedule for this decision is:

• March 16 — Comments on staff proposal and procedural strategy due
• March 29 — Scoping Memo and Ruling issued
• April-June — Workshops, comments, hearings as needed
• July 2007 — Proposed decision issued
• August 2007 — Final decision
