The Local Government Commission and Ecology Action are coordinating regional Energy Upgrade California outreach events across the state. Energy Upgrade California is a statewide energy efficiency retrofit program that provides homeowners with information and financial resources to reduce energy use. The program can spur local job creation by increasing demand for upgrades and help cities and counties meet energy reduction goals.
Local governments should attend these events to learn about resources available to them and to take part in an ongoing dialogue to ensure long-term sustainability. Attendees will learn from members of the Energy Upgrade California Program Team, Utility leaders and other experts, who will answer questions such as:
