Energy Upgrade California Regional Outreach Events

The Local Government Commission and Ecology Action are coordinating regional Energy Upgrade California outreach events across the state. Energy Upgrade California is a statewide energy efficiency retrofit program that provides homeowners with information and financial resources to reduce energy use. The program can spur local job creation by increasing demand for upgrades and help cities and counties meet energy reduction goals.

Local governments should attend these events to learn about resources available to them and to take part in an ongoing dialogue to ensure long-term sustainability. Attendees will learn from members of the Energy Upgrade California Program Team, Utility leaders and other experts, who will answer questions such as:

• Why is energy efficiency and workforce development so important?
• What are the additional benefits of energy efficiency and renewable energy generation?         
• What are the state's long-term vision and near term actions?
• How can communities, homeowners and businesses benefit from incentives, rebates and workforce support?

These events are free and open to all. Space is limited. Details for upcoming events are listed below:
