3rd annual Green California Summit, March 16-18

The third annual Green California Summit is coming to the Sacramento Convention Center March 16-18.

With California’s new green building codes, Cal EPA’s just-announced Green Chemistry Initiative, the recently released Scoping Plan for implementing AB32’s climate change provisions and a host of local green programs, there is a lot to learn and do, and the Summit is your best opportunity all year to get the information, contacts, products and services you will need to fulfill all your green mandates.

The keynote speaker for Wednesday, March 18th will be California State Treasurer Bill Lockyer. As was revealed in an interview with Green Technology magazine, the Treasurer is actively engaged in efforts to grow the green technology sector for the long-term health of the state’s economy as well as the stability of pension funds.

Admission to this keynote presentation and the exhibit hall, where hundreds of suppliers of green products and services will be available to answer questions and demonstrate the newest technology and ideas is free!  Register today.

California continues its major commitment to set the standard for green government, and the new Obama administration promises to focus on renewable energy and climate change leadership. This includes eliminating oil imports from the Middle East and Venezuela within 10 years and creating 5 million green jobs by investing, among other things, $150 billion over the next ten years to stimulate the building of a clean energy culture.  These bold, far-reaching goals will mean an infusion of capital and an enthusiasm for environmental  leadership never before seen.

Now is the time to plug into this expansion!
