PLANS: Lindsay Implements Downtown Vision

The City of Lindsay is constructing an innovative infill housing development that incorporates an economic incubator. Viewed as a Mercado, the project will recreate the lively live/work environment that makes historic town centers so full of vitality.

The outcome of a San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District REMOVE grant awarded to the Local Government Commission and Mogavero Notestine Associates, the project was recently incorporated into a larger downtown design developed from a LGC visioning process organized last year to involve Lindsay’s citizens in planning for their community’s future.
