California Mural Symposium, October
16-18 in Lindsay
The City
of Lindsay is hosting the California
Mural Symposium, October 16-18, 2003. This event
will bring together mural experts and experienced community leaders
with people interested in murals and those wanting to start mural
programs for their cities and counties. Awards will be presented
at the Symposium for the Most Successful Mural Community,
Best Mural Artist and Best Showdown Artist.
Registration includes:
- 9 presentations presented by world renown experts
- 4 panel discussions featuring successful mural communities
- Tours of more than 60 murals in three cities
- 6 meals including: 3 continental breakfasts, a box lunch, a
wine and cheese social and the Mural Art Awards Banquet with live
entertainment
- A copy of How To Create And Operate A Mural Program,
an 86-page book prepared by Gene Stevens, Lompoc, CA
- Opportunity to bid on Showdown Murals
