Energy Efficiency

 

The least costly energy is that which goes unused. Local governments can save substantial amounts of money via energy efficiency strategies, like San Diego’s retrofit of 50 city buildings (which saves it $2,800,000 a year), or conversion to light emitting diode (LED) traffic signals on city streets.
